Matej Matusek as the Head Coach of the Somang U14 National and Somang goalie coach

Continuing the biggest Slovak migration to Quebec since the arrival of the Stastny brothers in 1980, Somang Hockey is very happy to announce the nomination of Matej Matusek as the Head Coach of the Somang U14 National and Somang goalie coach. A young and upcoming coach, Matej has already gathered significant international experience, having played in the Junior LA Kings Organization as well as worked for the prestigious Hiti Academy in Slovenia. Matej is no stranger to Quebec, having accompanied the Slovenian squad to Granby last February.
