Foundation of elite development. Players buiild compete level, concepts, habits, skill development and team concepts at the AAA level
Elite program that offers a highly competitive hockey experience featuring a 60+ game travel schedule and approximately 160+ hours of intensive practice and development throughout the season.
Open to AA and AAA players born in 2010 and 2011. The season runs from August through April and includes competition in United Tier 1, the NAPHL, and other top showcases across North America.
Players compete in games throughout Quebec, Ontario, and the United States while developing in an environment focused on high-level athletic performance, exposure, and long-term growth.
At Somang Hockey, we place a strong emphasis on combining academic success with athletic development to help players succeed both on and off the ice.

Advanced tactical development and exposure to scouts. Skill development, individual tactics, team concepts and systems

Prep Team
Bridge between junior and minor. Academic excellence paired with elite hockey competing against top prep programs
Composed of the very best players (AAA) born between 2008 – 2009.
The overarching objective is to advance players to NCAA and ACHA colleges via junior leagues that they advance to.
Intensive game and travel schedule (in excess of 60 games a year). Tier 1 highly competitive schedule – Competing against the top Prep Academies in the USA and Canada.
Rigorous practice and training schedule (up to 10-12 hours a week), spanning from early September to April.
Emphasis on combining academic and athletic success.
Junior
2006 – 2009
USPHL Premier
Direct pipeline to Tier II junior hockey. Preparation for higher level juniors and future NCAA D3 / Pro
Our junior program is evolving each year with a Tier II NCDC team due to be entered in 2027/2028. We compete in the Canadian St Lawrence Division of the USPHL Premier.
The team plays a 44 game regular season that includes 12 Showcase games against cross-divisional opponents in the USA. This excludes playoffs.
Each week the team practices four times with two additional skill practices that are also goaltender specific sessions.
We focus on developing higher level details that includes a large amount of individual attention & teaching that lends to a high degree of preparation and exposure to next level.
Emphasis on combining academic and athletic success.
